InsightVM - Scanning Fundamentals: Sites, Asset Groups, and Tags

Spend time understanding some of the core building blocks in InsightVM by learning:

• What a Site is and how it should be used
  • Review Site configuration settings - credentials, template, scan engine, and schedule
• Some use cases for Asset Groups and how can they help improve your workflow
  • Review Asset Group filters like OS, software, services, and more
• Some examples of Tags and the value they provide
  • Tags are similar to Asset Groups but help combine dissimilar Tags into one Asset Group

Desired Outcome:

To create (or edit and review) one Site, Asset Group, and Tag, and then take a step back and think about how you can best leverage these features to create a more streamlined VM workflow.
